Connection to Glasgow
Adam Ali says, "I am a fourth generation Glasweigan Pakistani-Punjabi young person, with family history spanning back to the 1930-1940s when my great-grandfather arrived in Glasgow from pre-partition Punjab, and settled with his family.
Our family has had a deep connection to Glasgow, being born and raised here and having a proud sense of both our Glaswegian identity along with strong ties to our Punjabi roots."
