Alasdair Watson

Alasdair Watson says, "I am a freelance, neurodivergent, photographer and artist from Glasgow, and creativity is my connection to communities and our shared stories, while supporting the work of cultural and community groups. After a long time away from it, I have returned to creative writing, and like the rest of my art, my work is passionately rooted in the landscapes and languages of Glasgow and Scotland. I am self-taught and through the ritual of travel, connection, & creation, I tell stories of how we all belong to each other and our surroundings, while navigating ideas of imperfection, nostalgia, nature, outcasts, and the passage of time. My visual work can regularly be seen in exhibitions across the country, and with every opportunity I am gaining confidence in sharing and publishing my poetry, stories, and written creations.
