Andrew Conlin

About

Andrew is a poet, photographer and computer hobbyist living in Glasgow. In the winter, he drinks whisky, watches films at home, fiddles with hobby projects, and entertains his cat. In the summer, he drinks beer, goes to the cinema (long live the GFT!), climbs mountains, and goes for long runs. He reads consistently, and writes less so. His poetry mainly focuses on nature and the outdoors, with a good helping of folklore and myth. The style is heavily influenced by the romantic poets, as well as Seamus Heaney, Walt Whitman and Cormac McCarthy. His writing has been published in GZL Press and Greater Govanhill magazine. He also produces and publishes a quarterly zine called PUCK Press.

Connection to Glasgow

Andrew moved to Glasgow as a fresh-faced 18 year old, and never looked back. He currently lives in the Southside.
