Angela Yausheva

About

Angela is a spoken word artist, performing internationally at poetry slams and spoken word gigs. Her work delves into resilience, identity, and the intricacies of self-discovery. Through rich imagery and lyrical intensity, her poetry captures the experience of navigating personal and cultural landscapes shaped by both separation and belonging. In 2019, Angela received an MC Prize at the Poetry Slam in Copenhagen. In 2020, she performed as a feature act at spoken word events online, such as Trouble Tongues in London and WordUp Amsterdam. In 2025, Angela is set to perform at the Raise the Vibration Festival in London. Angela's work has been published in Into Poetry and Product Mag. She is an active member of the Federation of Writers Scotland and I Am Loud community in Glasgow.

a workshop participant; a member of City of Poets; a contributor to OILCAN;

and/or in any other SP SQUARE CIC undertakings/projects.

SP SQUARE CIC understands anti-social behaviour as any behaviour which,

in the view of attendant SP SQUARE CIC staff/contractors,

makes others present feel unsafe and/or uncomfortable.
