Farah Kashmiri

Farah Kashmiri says, "I belong to Pakistani administered Kashmir. I moved to the UK in 2023. Now living in Glasgow, my experiences have shaped my poetry. I am a new poet, having completed a certificate in poetry recently. I feel I have many new experiences to transmit through my writing. I write about the ongoing situation in Kashmir to raise awareness of what is happening there. But I also want to write about its beauty! I also want to write about human rights and worker's rights because these affect everyone."
