Giuliano Piacentini

About

Giuliano has a poem published in ‘Big Red Cat’ zine and self-publishes via ‘The Stanza Room’. He also exhibited and performed with 'Off Page' visual poetry collective at Many Studios. His influences include Philip Larkin, Ella Frears and Tim Key. He likes to write from a personal/narrator perspective and enjoys character studies. He has performed spoken word with elements of performance art and is looking to expand into movement/soundscape with collaboration. He mainly composes poetry, but has also written short stories, films, and plays - all joined by a dramatic thread and the love of live performance. He regularly recites at open mic nights. He graduated from Strathclyde Business School in 2024.

Connection to Glasgow

Giuliano was born in 2002 and raised in Rutherglen before moving to Crosshill in 2024.
