Parveen Khan

Parveen Khan says, "I have been writing something that resembled poetry but in hindsight it was fluff! As a young adult, my first epic read was 'A Suitable Boy' by Vikram Seth. I nursed this book for a year and a half as I was so attached to the fictious families in the story. As an adult, I was drop kicked by the Good Lord–and that knocked over my dormant poetry jar inside of me. Its been pouring out like molasses ever since. When I sit down to write with my pen/pencil/sharpie, my 'imposter hat' appears on my head! If my ramblings allow a kind of comfort or balm to another soul, I would be very happy indeed."
