Zuper Rookie is a pomp poet, performance artist and all round oddity whose art lives somewhere between spoken word, performance art, DIY pop and absurdist theatre. Usually armed with a microphone, some make shift backing tracks and a humble yet inflated sense of self importance, Zuper Rookie delivers pomp poetry, surreal comedy and exaggerated physicality with a lil smidgey smidge of audience participation at it's core. Performances blur the line between gig, theatre and public intervention, inviting crowds to become culpable collaborators in the chaos.
