Connection to Glasgow

Moira McPartlin says, "Between 1998 and 2005 I lived and worked in Glasgow. At that time I attended creative writing evening classes at Strathclyde University. I joined and became a committee member of the Federation of Writers (Scotland) and became a member of the GOMA writing group. In 2005 although I moved north of the city my connection to Glasgow strengthened. I became one of the long-serving organisers of Weegie Wednesday, a literary networking salon. At the same time I delivered courses to North Glasgow College. Although I now live in Stirling I maintain my links to Glasgow. As past Scriever for the Federation of Writers I support their Glasgow events. I am a member of Mirrorball and The Scottish Writers Centre. I am also currently an active member in G2 Writers, a collective who meet every three weeks to review and critique each other’s work."
