Rosemary Morgan
About
Rosemary Morgan says, "I am a retired social worker having worked with children and families supporting children and young people at home, in care, and while moving into adoptive placements. Latterly I managed a service supporting foster carers and adopters.
Having written sporadically for years, my serious poetry writing began thirteen years ago when I started attending poetry writing classes run by Linda Jackson at the Centre for Lifelong Learning at Strathclyde University. As a result of the support and encouragement I received, my commitment to and passion for poetry writing has grown. I have finished my first collection 'Pathways Through Loss' which I am hoping to have published. I have other ideas for future poetry projects.
I have assisted at two poetry workshops where I live and have run a workshop for people interested in writing. This is something I hope to pursue in the future. I am really excited by the ethos of City of Poets and look forward to becoming more involved."
