About

I started writing poetry whilst in school as, during long rehearsals in drama class, I found myself looking for something to occupy my time . Since I've always been pretty wordy I felt naturally called to poetry, I grew more immersed when I discovered my favourite poet Seamus Heaney. I was fascinated by the visceral language he used that would always paint the most vivid pictures, and humanise inanimate things. Most of my experience has been independent as I did not have the courage to share it with anyone. Only recently I've been uploading a few onto my DeviantArt website. Due to moving, I haven't been able to properly transcribe all my poetry onto the website, but a few are up, and I will be adding to it in the coming weeks.

Connection to Glasgow

I grew up in Glasgow and am about to move back there (technically to Paisley, but close enough) so the city holds a lot of memories and emotions for me that I often draw upon in any of my art.
