Emma Bacon

Emma Bacon has been writing for a very long time: journalling, narrative non-fiction, as well as teaching. All the while poetry is her first love. As a younger person she did stand-up readings, and was published. Disappointed at her 'progress' she took a break from it. Once she had children, "Writing went out of the window!!!" she says. Feeling miserable when not writing, she has recently returned to poetry, "I just love writing, full stop." Alongside family and writing, she enjoys being outdoors on the hills.
