Linda Jackson/Jaxson

About

Linda Jackson is one of the three Wanderlust Women poets, alongside Donna Campbell and Lesley Benzie, with two full collections of poetry – Wanderlust Women: Three Poets, and Wanderlust Women: Extra Baggage. Published by Seahorse Publications, a press founded by Linda in 2019 as an outlet for both established and new poets, this project has been hugely successful resulting in readings and performances worldwide. Having worked creatively in poetry, prose and music all of her working life, Linda's own first poetry collection, The Cabinet, came out with Red Squirrel Press in 2020 and the next, Still Time, will be published by them in Feb 2024. With a university background in teaching literature and creative writing Linda also works freelance on tutoring both. The charity SCAP was founded by Linda in 2022 to offer inclusive cultural opportunities, resulting in the publication of two books of poetry and prose. WRITING THE WORLD and OUT OF THE BLUE. Alongside all of this Linda is also a song-writer, musician, and acclaimed singer with six albums to her credit all available via her website. She says herself, "Life is good."
